India Launches Ambitious Green Energy Initiative to Power 500 Million Homes by 2030

In a groundbreaking move, the Indian government has announced a massive renewable energy project aimed at powering over 500 million households with clean energy by 2030. The initiative, unveiled at a press conference in New Delhi, includes solar farms, wind turbines, and hydroelectric plants across 15 states.

Energy Minister stated that this project represents the largest clean energy investment in the countrys history, with an estimated budget of $200 billion. International partners from Japan, Germany, and France have pledged support for the initiative.

Environmental experts have praised the move, calling it a significant step toward meeting Indias Paris Agreement commitments. The project is expected to create over 2 million jobs in the renewable energy sector and reduce carbon emissions by 40 percent within the next five years.
